Reviewing MeVui Kuta! (Bali Episode πŸŽ‡)

Hey everyone! You may or may not wonder why I haven't post anything for about a year. Let's just say I take a break from this website, but since the hostinger I used these past few months weren't performing at the rate I want; I decided to go back! Anyway, I have postpone this past for a month because of procrastination.... Nevertheless, you are still able to read this so enjoy this review!

Last month I visited Bali (I'll make a post about this) and although it might be a really predictable destination, I am going to share a few tips I obtained there. By the way, on the 1st day we stayed in Kuta and was searching a good diner. That's where we found this place: MeVui Kuta!

1. Place & Open Hour

I will put the location at the end of the post so make sure to scroll! Anywhoo, they have outdoor seats, which is not really available since it was raining;
  • But they do have indoor seatings on the first and second story of the building whereas outdoor seats are located on the 1st floor.
  •  They have restroom which is located on the second floor.
  • Open hour From Monday-Sunday: 09:00-22:00 WITA
The place was vast with a lot of seat and if they are done constructing half of the room on the second floor, they may have more seats than last time. I also have some recommendation if you are interested in the restaurant:
  • Opt for walk, especially if you stay near. The reason to this statement is because I see a lot of people on review were asking about the parking spot which is something they didn't provide.
  • Learning from mistakes, you might've rang the bell on your table multiple times but don't because they chimed loudy downstair.
For the ambience itself, well, you can't really expect serenity in Kuta; if that's what you're looking for. During daytime it might not be that loud, but at night; the sound of vehicles and nearby clubs were very loud. But I guess this is perfectly normal if you eat somewhere in Kuta or Legian.

2. Menu & Food

Price ranging from IDR 20K-175K. They offered vast selection of vietnamese delicacy with the various selection of toppings and fillings; they also provided facts and tutorial to eat the food inside the menu. Here are some of them:
  • They have Pho variants such as Pho Ha Noi or Pho Sai Gon. MeVui also offer Pho customized for children! (est: IDR 50K-90K)
  • For main course other than Pho, they have grilled pork and chickens. You can accompany these delicacy with their Vietnamese Tropical Salad. (est: IDR 60K-75K)
  • For additional information, they have toasted baguette with various fillings and mixed platter. (est 35K-75K)
  • MeVui presented many traditional Vietnamese snacks and desserts such as Sago Taro and Veggie Rolls.
Foods were almost all alike their pictures in the menu (from portion to presentation).

3. Review πŸ˜†✋

We ordered the vegetable rolls, vietnamese bread, Pho, Sago Taro, and drinks. To me the price were very affordable since most of the place in Kuta is either more expensive or the same. But personally, I expected the portion to be bigger for the Pho considering the price. They taste perfectly fine and similar to foods at other vietnamese restaurants I have tried.

I asked my family and according to them the food were very good. In my opinion, they were not only good but also make you full. They don't trigger that continuous craving but not excessively full as well. I like the savory taste of the pho and the random fillings inside the toasty baguette that we ordered. The item that wasn't very well adjusted is only the Sago Taro because they are a little bit sweet for my likings. But other than the Sago, the food was good.

Because at that time it was raining, the place was a bit crowded because nobody (of course) sat on the outdoor seat. Although they have limited seats, the waitresses still respond quickly and try to find available seat for us. Considering that it was very crowded, our food arrived in a short period of time and the waitresses responded quickly to all of our order.

In conclusion I didn't regret going to this place but this is place is not something you really ought to visit. That comment doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my visit though; in short, go here if you stay near! Thank You for spending your time reading this post, bye! CαΊ£m Ζ‘n!
