Hello Friends! After my previous post, you might've known that I visited Bali. Although in my previous post I reviewed a restaurant, in this post I am going to tell you a whole day in Bali, specifically Kuta. Let's get into it!
1. From the Airport
In I Gusti Ngurah Rai International airport, they provided many taxis and cars for them to bring you to the hotel. There's bluebird, gojek, etc. My tips is to keep searching for the cheapest vehicle option. There can be 3-4 stands that might offer you an expensive deal, but keep searching as there will be a cheaper one. By, the way, here's a pic from the plane!
We finally arrived to our hotel, as we can't book our room yet, we just leave our things there! We immediately search for a driver to bring us to places. The first stop is a pig restaurant (I forget the name). They have the regular Nasi Campur which consisted of Pig Skin and Meat, Veggies, and Shrimp.
I feel like a lot of places sell the same things with higher price, so if you don't have specific restaurant to go to just find the lesser-known/unpopular places because they sell foods at reasonable price. After that, because we don't know where to go, we decided to ask the driver recommendation. Here goes another tip, if it's your first time & don't know where to go, always be prepared. I didn't bring any swimsuits/sandals at that time so when my driver brought me to a beach, I was completely unprepared. But hey, at least the beach was nice!
This was in Nusa Dua Beach. Look how pretty the view is! Like any beach in Bali, they charge 50K for seats and they allowed you to bathe in a restroom near the parking lot. On the beach, we found some beautiful shells!
Right after that, we decided to go back to the hotel and wait for sunset in Kuta. We walked from our hotel to Kuta. At that time, the tide was quite high and there were a lot of trashes near the beach, so swimming there was not an option. After enjoying the sunset we went to Kuta Beachwalk.
I don't know the weather know, but if you're trying to find a comfortable beaches the driver recommend:
- Nusa Dua Beaches
- Suluban Beach (surfing), Pandawa Beach: Uluwatu Beaches
- Amed Beach
We went to Candylicious and bought some candies. Other than candylicious, nothing was particularly interesting there, therefore we decided to search for dinner. We went past many local stalls and they sell souvenir at a reasonable price. If you bought souvenir at tourist places, they might sell those 2x the original price; here, with a proper haggle you can get things cheaper. Anyway, we went to MeVui; it is a vietnamese restaurant. I recommend you to go there if you stay in Kuta or Legian.

And that's it! I know today's post is relatively short but at least I put some beautiful picture! I will hopefully do another of this series, so stay tune! Bye! 😃
