Trip to Bali (2/5)! 💙💚

Hey all! If you've read last week post, you already know that this is the second compilation to make vacay in Bali. This is day two and we'll cover few places such as:

  • Tanah Lot Temple
  • Taman Ayun Temple
  • Ulun Danu Beratan Temple
1. Early Breakfast & Tanah Lot
On second day, I have an early and quick breakfast in the hotel. After feeding myself pancakes and cheese sticks, I quickly prepare myself to our next trip: Tanah Lot Temple. If you want to go to a lot of place on the same day, then start your day early! Going early means less crazy traffick 😅

Although that is mere logic but sometimes you can forget how crazy the traffick is in Bali. Another thing you should pay attention is google maps! A road that is usually empty can be really crowded because of various reasons like celebrations, when this happens; ask the driver for alternative route. Anyway, we arrived in Tanah Lot around 09:00 AM. In the entrance, there are a lot of stands. We decided to stop and buy Jaje Klepon, a delicacy from Bali.

Tanah Lot is quite vast, so I suggest going to every corners because they presented beautiful ocean view here. There are a lot of picture worthy place in every corner, you can even take picture with a snake! I am going to do a full review of Tanah Lot, so stay tune!

2. Lunch & Taman Ayun Temple
We get in the car and search for the nearest restaurant. We stop in a restaurant and we have another Nasi Campur Bali! After feeling full, we went to another destination: Taman Ayun Temple. SOme may know this destination from its famous subak water system. You'll se a small water canals surrounding the temple, this will eventually lead to the paddy fields.

Taman Ayun Temple

Taman ayun is famous for its historical & cultural performance. It has been visited by leaders from all over the world. Walk around but don't be noisy, as some people might be praying. I'll also write furthe abour this, so don't forget to check!

3. Ulun Danu Temple
After strolling around for a long while, we decided it was time to go to our final destination: Ulun Danu. The sooner you get there, the less crowded it'll be. If you want to go there, make sure to go under 16:00 WITA, above that; it'll be crowded.

The road to go there was quite crazy, but the view was nice. It was Mount Agung complimented with paddy fields below. We finally reached our destination about an hour later. This is a few pictures.

I'll write further reviews about all of this, so make sure to stay tune!
