Trip to Bali (3/5) 🐒😎🌊

Hey Everyone! To end this week, I decided to write another post to continue the Bali Series! If you have read my previous posts, you probably know that I spend my first two days in Kuta and Seminyak, but today we're heading a bit to the north. I think its fairly obvious from the thumbnail that we are going to 💚UBUD💚. Scroll to see our adventure!

1. Tirta Empul

After saying my final goodbye to the hotel, I quickly open maps to see how crowded the road was. Because of the holiday season, the traffic lasted for about an hour before our destination, "Tirta Empul". You have to cover your lower body with a sheath or 'sarong' (sarung) in order to enter the place. After doing so, tie your hair then enter the place! If you decided to bathe in the water, also called 'melukat'; you'll have to change your clothing.

I decided to walk further and behind there were people preparing for a ceremony! You can also see more fountains behind. After walking around the place, I concluded that it was time for the next destination. But, of course before heading out, I bought some bracelets!

2. Desa Panglipuran

I was scared that I wouldn't be able to come here because of the rain, but thankfully it was just light raindrops! Anyway, the parking lot was a bit crowded, but my driver manage to found one. Desa Panglipuran is one of the traditional village in Bali in which you can see what locals are doing on daily basis. Some locals resorted to selling/rent stuff, but some were still doing their regular activities.

After walking stairs to stairs, we manage to reached the top and take pictures in front of this big gate! It was so beautiful! Then, it was time for lunch! I have another Nasi Campur Bali for my lunch, and at this point I notice that it'll eventually become another food addiction of mine.

3. Kintamani and Tegalang Rice Field

Then, we decided to stop at Kintamani despite the weather. I was almost devastated when the cloud covered the mountain tops because of the rain, but after half an hour waiting; I can finally see the peak!

You can't really see it from this picture, but it sure was beautiful! I waited in a bridge facing the mountain like a lot more other people to see this majestic view. Can agree that it'll defo look better if it wasn't raining, but it was nice already. There were cafes and restaurant belowe, and you can also enjoy the view from there! This place is famous for its Luwak Coffee, so make sure to try one of those!

Anyway, a lot of sellers will come up to you and recommend stuff. They sell bracelets, necklace, and some were doing nail art! Just be careful not too buy too much (like me)!

Finally, before going to our hotel, went down again to Ubud to visit Tegalang Rice Field. And this rice field is the highlight of my day!

You can see how vast the rice field is, and its not even the full terrace! Upon entering the place, there are some cafes where you can just sit down and enjoy the view. If you go further, you'll started to see swings, photo spot, etc.

These swings aren't only available in one place, you can see 2-3 more on the other corner. I decided to wander over the terrace, although it was tiring, I'll admit. But once you arrive on top of the terrace, the view will be worthwhile!

Of course I'll write review seperately for every one of these destinations, so don't forget to stick around! See you on my next post, and read my last if you haven't! Bye!
