Hello Everyone! This week I'm back with a new review! Like the previous post, the post I will be writing today is near the subject of food. This place offer the impression of vintage Europe. The kind of impression you get in your grandma's house. So, what are we waiting for? Let's get started! 1. Location Nonies Huis consisted of 5 floors, where the 1st floor is receptionist. Then continue from 2-4 are the hotel rooms. Whereas, the highest floor is where the restaurant at. 2. Food From the name, it seems like this place is trying to give off a vibe of a European 19th-century house. So, I kind of expected most of the food to be European cuisine. But they have both Asian & European dish here! Let's review some:
I tried few foods here including mac & cheese, spinach soup, poffertjes; along with the drink which are lemon tea, tea brew culture, and lychee tea.
3. Place We didn't stay in the hotel, but we did eat at the restaurant. As I stated before, this place is very vintage. The room was covered with bricks and dim lights. The place was really spacious and there are a lot of tables and seats. They also have private room, so you can contact them if you want to book it. But my favorite part was how they decorate the room & the decoration concept. In one wall, they have it covered by many paintings. I don't know how they do it, but the paintings have that tint and particular looks from the 19th century. Most of them have Impressionism as a concept. They have stairs allowing you to go to the outdoor balcony upstair. The balcony was filled with tables and seatings. There is a coffee shop above where they serve drinks and pastries. The shop itself looks very vintage from the outside! I never thought I would say this, but I absolutely have no bad experience (even slight) from coming to this place! Personally, they have the most authentic place and foods. Foods were nostalgic and addictive, whilst place was jaw-dropping! Aside from the place and food, the service was also really good. So, yes, definitely, it's a must to go here!
